INTRODUCTION
USA Dance is a non-profit, volunteer organization.  It is the governing body for amateur ballroom dancing in the United States and has chapters all over the country.  The basic purpose of chapters is to create opportunities for “affordable” ballroom dancing in the community and to educate the public regarding the physical, mental and social benefits of ballroom dancing.

North Coast USA Dance is a local Chapter serving Lake and Cuyahoga Counties in the North Eastern Ohio region.  Chapter 2063 sponsors monthly dances for members and the general public and assist new dancers in finding places to dance, dance studios and local ballroom dancing activities.

Typically, each dance consists of a thirty minute dance lesson, followed by two and a half hours of general dancing as well as dance demonstrations when available.  The program includes mixers and line dances.  The Chapter also promotes ballroom dance training in local colleges and high schools, and seeks to increase the number of business establishments that offer ballroom dancing to the public.  Membership is open to everyone who has an interest in dancing.  A special welcome is extended to beginners.

North Coast USA Dance currently has 50 members.
